Research Focus
Geophysics and Geodynamics

I am interested in the physics of the solid Earth. In my research I combine numerical modeling with geophysical and geological data analyses to study mantle flow, lithospheric deformation, mountain building and basin formation, faulting, and earthquakes.

Teaching

Courses I have taught include Plate Tectonics, Thermal Processes in the Solid Earth, Active Tectonics, Faulting and Earthquakes, Structural Geology, and Principles of Geology.
