Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences
The B.S. curriculum is designed to prepare students to become professional geologists in the resource, geotechnical and environmental industries, geological surveys, state and federal agencies, and for entry into a graduate program in geological sciences.
Bachelor of Arts in Geological Science
The B.A. Curriculum is designed as a degree through which the student wishes to eventually pursue a career in teaching, journalism, law, etc.
The BS capstone is an award-winning 6-week summer field camp in western Wyoming, with a range of advanced projects to choose from. Elective classes include Study Abroad field trips that have visited China (2010), Chile (2014) and Spain (2016).
