Visiting Assistant Professor in Geological Sciences

The Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Missouri in Columbia invites applications for a one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2023-2024 academic year. A Ph.D. in Geological Sciences or a related field is required. The successful candidate will teach three courses each semester, including at least one introductory geology course, Mineralogy or Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology (Fall 2023). Applicants will be evaluated on their ability to teach effectively across the curriculum.
