Mizzou Geology Club

The Mizzou Geology Club is an inclusive group open to students from all majors who share an enthusiasm for geology and the geosciences. The club hosts biweekly meetings, with games, movies, and fundraisers, including the famous rock sale. We also help to coordinate and arrange field trips around Columbia!

All undergraduates are encouraged to join, if you have questions contact one of our officers or you can find us on Instagram.

MUGGS

The MU Geology Graduate Society serves as a means of communication between the faculty and graduate student cohort in the department. We foster a welcoming and inclusive graduate community and provide information on access to funding for travel and events such as fundraisers. We also coordinate the annual Student Research Forum (SRF) where graduate students can present and share their research progress with their peers.

All MU geology graduates are free to join. If you have questions, contact MUGGS President Clare Mate

AEG MU Student Chapter

The Association for Environmental and Engineering Geologists is a good way for undergraduates and graduate students to come together to serve the community, mentor each other, and build friendships. AEG hosts speakers throughout the semester, organizes small club events such as “Bad Science: Movie Night” and hosts practically free field trips provided to members of AEG.

If you have questions, contact AEG President Will Hunt.
